Hitchcock WR Kelshaun Johnson was originally supposed to announce on Monday but pushed things back to Wednesday due to Hurricane Beryl. Johnson's home is still without electricity and could be for a few more days so he's pushing his decision back to next week sometime.
Texas, Texas A&M, USC, Arkansas and Texas Tech are all involved but realistically, this one is down to Texas and Texas A&M. He told me today that both schools are still pushing hard for his commitment, so pushing things back may actually be a blessing in disguise to give him more time to decide.
Right now, I'd put A&M slightly out in front but it's very close and Johnson hasn't fully locked in on one school yet. Best of luck to him, his family and everyone else dealing with the aftermath of Beryl.
