I had a lot of time on my hands last weekend and was in the mood for something light. I decided to watch Kingpin and Joe Dirt (Joe Deerte'). These are two movies that have been around forever, but I had never seen them and was always out of the loop when people would talk about or reference the movie. Pretty funny stuff as I needed something fun to distract from the worldly chaos. Bill Murray was excellent. That video at the bowling finals of him helping young boys with single moms-LMAO.
I don't know if any of you have seen Bad Boys with Sean Penn, but I think it is worth watching. I had watched this movie in the 80s and liked it. I re-watched it and still think it is a very good movie. Most people nowadays think of Will Smith/Martin Lawrence when you speak about Bad Boys. One of the bullies in the movie is Hadley (Clancy Brown) in Shawshank. Bad Boys had several up and coming star actors: Penn, Reni Santoni, Clancy Brown, Ally Sheedy, Esai Morales
