Lol that hasn’t mattered the last couple weeks. Riley and Kelly were out recruiting for their former schools and their new schools in the same house this week haha

I just think if he was the guy he would be on his way to Norman already for an interview at least. I bet they go after a bigger name and someone who has already established themselves as a head coach. Venables is a risky hire IMO.

To MM and W, that is why Joe C. is in charge. The guy who brought in Stoops and signed off on Riley. Ok with any pick he makes. Would prefer the Cincy coach but Venables would be fine. Either of the Baylor guys, Rhule or Aranda but looks like they are off the boards. OU still has plenty of talent if they keep Caleb but recruiting is down for sure. Will see in a week or so I guess.

Castiglione is a great AD, but he's not infallible. Fingers crossed for a Jeff Capel type of hire here.
