Shows how depleted our LB depth is if we have to rely on him to start. Not his fault though and is doing what he can. He should be a second string or specialist type guy, not a starter.

Fwiw, the strength of this recruiting class was defense. But we have a new coaching staff. Sarkisian said that he would call on the freshman at any time if they were needed. But if they're not ready given the state of our defense you wonder if they will be back next year. But hey the coaches know what they're doing and it would be foolish of me to second guess them.

I had a Luke Brockermeyer vision the other night.

It's New Year's Night at the Sugar Bowl. And the Texas Longhorns having recovered from a heartbreaking loss to OK are in the Sugar Bowl against the mighty crimson tide. Although they haven't played this year twin brothers Tommy and James Brockermeyer are standing on the sidelines but wearing their jerseys #.

In the 1st quarter Luke Brockermeyer is running full speed towards the AL sidelines. But he misses the tackle and before he realizes it has gone helmet to head to little Tommy he staggers from the force and knocks down little James. They stay down and need help to walk to the bench.

The zebras confer. The rule book clearly states targeting only applies to players that are playing. Luke walks over to the twins and says you frs should have gone TX. Mr and Mrs Brockermeyer are in the stands and Mrs Brockermeyer tells husband Luke you son of a ***** I told you I wanted them to go to TX. She slaps him and walks out of the Superbowl and doesn't return.
