How to watch Texas football on Longhorn Network in 2023

by Andrew Miller18 hours ago

The first of what will likely be two Texas football games this season broadcast live on Longhorn Network is coming up this weekend against the Wyoming Cowboys at home at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin. Texas usually has two games broadcast live on Longhorn Network each football season.

We know the Texas-Wyoming game at DKR on Sep. 16 at 7 p.m. CT will be broadcast on Longhorn Network. If LHN has another Texas football game this season, it must come in Big 12 play. That leaves the possibility of three Big 12 home games (Kansas, BYU, and Kansas State) being broadcast on LHN this season.

Last season, the two Texas games broadcast on Longhorn Network were the matchup against the Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks in the opener and UTSA Roadrunners in Week 3.

How to get the Longhorn Network to watch Texas football in 2023?

Since this will be the last year of the Longhorn Network before Texas joins the SEC in 2024, there is a chance that the Texas-Wyoming game is the last for Longhorns football on this channel. The Longhorn Network will be dissolved once Texas leaves the Big 12 following the 2023-24 athletic year.

According to ESPN and the Longhorn Network’s website, here are the TV providers with LHN available this fall.
