I know. 2 months.Who knows. This is just my opinion, but it seems that Riley has an affinity for LA for whatever reason. That being the case, the bottom line is that USC is the plum job in the Pac 12. The name alone helps tremendously in recruiting. Combine that with a big name coach and when he starts winning, SC will scoop up all of the top talent in the west and some nationally as well. Also, you don't have to compete with Alabama and the other SEC teams that are decent at SC. There is a much easier path to the CFP in the Pac 12 vs the SEC and he's still at a blue blood program.
I’ve heard this and not sure I agree under the premise I think you may be making the statement? Are you saying that Riley helped OU intentionally lose to OSU and Baylor so he didn’t have to play in the CCG thus allowing him to get out of town to USC faster? If so maybe so or it could also be his head just wasn’t in it and he really wasn’t game planning like he should. Whatever it was it’s been that way really all year. Who knows.I agree with what you say.
I don't fault LR for his choices at all. I believe he made sure that OU lost to OSU. Baylor too???
I wish Mack would of handed off the program in the shape stools did. He had a chance to, but didn’tThe OU football program might not like this, but whoever they hire as their next head coach needs to operate without Bob Stoops hanging around and standing over their shoulder. Sure, it was great that Stoops handed off the program to Riley in tip top shape, but Riley was always going to be "the next guy" who didn't build anything, standing in the shadow of a legend.
Nah. Baylor just kicked their a** every which way to Friday. Coach Visor Jr. knew he had bled out any physicality left over from the Stoops era, and had to get out while he still had a good name.I agree with what you say.

It's hard to fault Riley. He has to daughters and has probably lived in constant fear that one of them will get punched in the face by a player.
Did Joe Mixon get some eligibility back and enroll at UT?Is Sark under the same fear?
On balance, much easier path to the CFP in the Pac 12 than SEC. No doubt his O will put up points in the Pac 12. The bottom half of the Pac 12 is worse than the bottom half of the SEC. He'll face 2 games a year against decent to good defenses (Utah in the Pac 12 South and Oregon in the CCG). Otherwise, he should win all of the other games. Will be interesting to see what he does with Helton's recruits. If Riley is immediately successful, it'll show how little Helton did with the talent that was already there - sound familiar?Who knows. Did Bobino? Educate yourself and think before you postDid Joe Mixon get some eligibility back and enroll at UT?

You tell me, what was his punishment? Crickets. Here's the answer Deej, there was no punishment for Bobino, none. I've looked up his criminal record, no mention, but I did find this interview with Huerta who served justice on him, perhaps Huerta should pay Mixon a visit. There you go, I just educated you since you're too lazy and would prefer to just bump your gums.Did the Texas coaching staff and Austin law enforce bend over backwards to keep Bobino from getting into any trouble?
Educate yourself.

You have no idea what you're even talking aboutRashad Bobino was removed from the football team and never allowed to represent Texas in football again.

I thought Bobino was dismissed from the team? What am I missing here?
Here's the direct question that I responded to: "Did Joe Mixon get some eligibility back and enroll at UT?"Bobino wasn't removed from the team, because the incident happened like 7 years after he graduated. The 2 incidents are apples and oranges.
Bobino an Mixon are both POS's. This is a typical Belldozer attempt to redirect and discredit.
Ya it’s pretty pointless to argue. They are both POS.Bobino wasn't removed from the team, because the incident happened like 7 years after he graduated. The 2 incidents are apples and oranges.
