Probably because most of them have full-time jobs, families, kids, grandkids. A lot of them probably don’t have the chops any more to play on Saturdays. That being said, if you paid them, I bet you could get enough of them to get knock the rust off.

Well, its obvious that they don't need the money, by going to France and maybe its time for them to give back to their Texas fans who cheer everyday when Alumni day comes around, if they can make it for alumni day then why not another? Why pay them? For something they should do for Texas...I'll go to starting a Texas Mob band complete with Kazoo band sound...

If they are perfectly happy to never play the Eyes of Texas, then I am perfectly happy to never see the band at another football game. This also goes for any woke football players or any other woke player in another sport. This is not a prison, they can go to another school any time they want.
