Looks Like BU has backed out of the Herman Sweepstakes

NBC Channel 5 Dallas reporting Chad Morris to Baylor, to be announced this weekend. If true, a light at the end of the tunnel, finally. This nightmare can't end soon enough.

I think that's a good hire. I don't believe Herman was realistic, but Morris is about as good as you can hope for.

This would be a fantastic hire for Baylor. Chad Morris is universally respected in the state of Texas and clearly has the ties needed to recruit. His entire 2 recruiting classes at SMU were Texas kids. Give him 3 years and Baylor will be back close to what they were the last couple of years, except I expect them to play defense.

They won't be back to where they were that easily. Coaching wise Briles was elite that's really big shoes to fill for Morris, but that is still as good a hire that they could make.

He won't be recruiting like Briles, they will be KSU/Tech level of play at best.
