LSU lost a ton to the draft and then lost more that opted out. Mostly, they lost Burrow and a guy like that cant be replaced. Sort of like what happened to us when we lost Colt.

I've said this since the day L$U won the NC. Coach Gumbo caught lightning in a bottle. They'll revert back to their 9-3 type of record. This year looks to be pretty bad. IMO Coach Gumbo will be fired in two to four years.

You don't get 1st & Goal at the 1 against Mizzou who was playing without both starting interior DL and not score with the kind of recruiting they've had, even if guys opted out. And true frosh QB at Mizzou throws for 400yds and 4 TDs. Mizzou gets excited for a 3 star and LSU settles for a few 3 stars. There's more to this than whats being advertised.
