Not a fan of Johnny's but he's totally held to a different standard than other players are . . . even other super stars. Take Odell Beckam, great player but serious partier. Not sure about how he behaves during the season, but in the off season this guy is out tearing up Scottsdale every night . . . drinking, smoking dope, etc. He's banged half the young girls in town. Not one whisper from the media on this.

If that were Johnny, it would be front page news. That being said, ATM still licks my stinky ball sweat.

QBs get held to a higher standard than other players that's nothing new. Unless you can do something on the field that no one else can you better keep your nose clean as a QB.

I'm just shocked that athletes party. What a shocker. So Manziel is the only athlete that parties? I'll be the first to say he has done some stupid stuff, but I'll also say that he is more watched than anyone I have ever seen. If a coach is going to bench athletes for partying when they have a big game coming up, then there aren't going to be many athletes left. I'm guessing that all first round picks in the draft go have milk and cookies after they get drafted.

So johnny has money now (for those of you that believe the BS, it's Johnny's gramps that has the money- his daddy was a country club pro and his momma sold real estate in kerrville)- and with money comes options. So johnny, who been notorious for his stupid antics on and off the field decides to go party after being named the starter for the Brown not long after a long stint in rehab. Then when he gets caught acting a fool again, his coach and GM confront him about it and like a teenager caught sneaking out by his parents, he lies and then gets his friends to lie for him. (All 100% FACTS).

The question is---- why the fvck with all that money, is he coming to Austin to party? Can't you aggys get your golden boy to come back to howdy town and party with his beloved fans in college station? I mean, if so many aggys love him, and he loves the aggys so much, why doesn't he want to come back there and hang out with the coolest people on the planet???

If JM partied in Bryan where he's loved, it would be all good. But, because of m&a putting him on a pedestal, some denying the problems he has, then, yes, the media is going to jump on the story more than "less idolized " athletes. I feel kinda sorry for the guy-now that he's not an aggy.
