His contention is that the party is holding black people back. He said on Tucker Carlson's show that wherever you see the black caucus you see them getting richer and black people getting poorer. You see handouts, poor schools, drugs, jail and lack of opportunity. He is very hard on John Lewis.
I've always thought that the hand that holds you is the one that holds you down. He feels the same way.
