Baylor should throw caution to the wind and hire Brady away from LSU. That would accomplish 2 things: 1.) Send Ogre and LSU back to the dark ages, offensively; 2.) Possibly bring a lot of talent to Waco with an up and coming coach although I personally don't think he has the experience necessary but may be worth a shot

He pulled a Bill O'Brien. He took a job at a school coming out of scandal, brought them to respectability and then cashed in on that success to get an NFL gig.

He was overrated. Had two chances to take down OU and couldn't get the job done. Bring in Saban.
I don’t agree with that tweet. He got them out of a dismal situation. He is leaving it better than he got it. He has an opportunity that is best for him and his family. Nothing wrong with it.
diadevic imo Matt Rhule was not overrated at he should have been coy it's a joke that Ed Ogeron won it. Reality finally won out in the end in the last 2 games. Whoever their next coach is he's gotta do something with the ol. Because of them Charlie Brewer is going to have to take early retirement.
A name for Baylor to consider? Like Fickell at Cincinnati. A bright coach, very religious always a plus at Baylor. He's Catholic but I think Baylor has moved beyond the days of Judge McCall. The only thing is he's spent his whole life in Ohio even as a coach. Doubt if they'll hire him though
I've seen his name tossed around. Alot of support for Joey McGuire, former Cedar Hill HS coach and one of Rhule's first hires. And yes I was kidding about Rhule. He took us from the depths to relevancy - he earned that NFL job. His whole NFL career will be determined by his first decision - what to do with Cam Newton. Good luck Coach!
Diadevic what’s your take on Brady from LSU? He doesn’t have head coaching experience but may be an up and comer that Baylor could possibly get?
I'd take him in a heartbeat. One of the big sources of anxiety in Waco is Phil Snow, our DC. That guy completely transformed the program. We went from winning games 61-58 to winning with defense. He is an older guy, and the gossip is he may not want to go the NFL, he may not translate, etc. If you could combine Brady as HC and Snow as DC, then maybe we could hold a 25 point lead!
Another Dennis Franchione over rated and his DC carried him just like Patterson did when DC at TCU. Refs gave them TTech game with obvious fumble call. WV misses a easy FG . TCU‘s best receiver dropped two for sure td passes. Easily 3 more losses thanks to Lady Luck smiling on them. Georgia proved my point with 13 players out of bowl game. His strong suite is hiring good assistants I give him credit on that .
