Matthew McConaughey recently helped to give back to firefighters battling California wildfires. In partnership with Operation BBQ Relief and volunteers from Wild Turkey Bourbon, McConaughey assisted in preparing 800 turkey dinners for California firefighters.

McConaughey, the creative director of Wild Turkey, takes part in the company's "With Thanks" outreach program each year. This year, Wild Turkey is supporting first responders across the U.S. McConaughey was joined by Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell.

I truly hope before it’s all said and done that the powers that be give him a chance to be head coach of the Horns, he’s earned it imo. Besides, he already works for the University so having him just slide over to the HC role will be pretty seamless.
