Meanwhile, someone finally told Baylor...

... to fix their schedules and stop embarrassing the conference. Well, eventually anyway... since schedules that are already in place won't need to be changed unless they have two FCS opponents. So Baylor plays Duke in 2017 and 2018 and will have to have to play power 5 teams from then on, since they have at least one spot open (and actually already have Utah in 2023 and 2024).

Clearly they aren't the only one who's had a lack of Power 5 teams in any given season, but they're the most ongoing offender and the one that most obviously doesn't match up with how good they want everyone to consider them to be.

It's the one thing I don't like about Art Briles.

"They're all fakes run to their mansions"
Bowlsby laid the wood to Baylor about their cheesy schedule. Basically he said, "Grow a pair." They didn't play an FCS school this year. However, they have in the past. And SMU, Lamar and Rice? We'd be bowling with that schedule.
He also shot an arrow into the heart of the $EC no more than 1 FCS team. I wish he added no FCS game after October 30th. The chicken sh#@ SEC alway schedules an FCS team in November.

Chicken S&$t Alabama played Charleston Southern

I'm still not entirely ready to shrug off the questions surrounding the Ukwuachu situation. As far as just on-the-field stuff I'd tend to agree? But some things loom larger, to me, than on-the-field stuff...

What do Robbie Rhodes, Tre'Von Armstead, J.W. Ketchum and Josh Gordon have in common? All are four star recruits kicked off the team by Art "Viles."

Ohhh, was outhereincali joking? I mean, I definitely know plenty of UT fans who still say we should have tried to hire him. And he clearly is an effective football coach. So I wasn't sure.

And no, dismissing a few guys over pot (two of which were dismissed after his program was under added scrutiny thanks to the after-the-fact publicity that the Ukwuachu situation brought) doesn't just automatically clear the air for me.
