He and his wife sat directly in front of my family at church this morning. We introduced ourselves to the people sitting around us and I recognized him immediately. I had no idea they were members at my church and I could tell he wanted to keep a low profile. I didn’t let on I recognized him until after services when I told him “best of luck coach”.
I told my wife and daughter I wasn’t sure how I felt sitting next to a man in church who I want to lose his job. Honestly, on some level it put things in perspective.
