Michigan Vs Ohio State

I'd love to see Herman and UT go get Luke Fickle to be DC. I'm not overly impressed with Orlando the more I watched him.

boring football...

In 10 years maybe sooner we will be talking about Jim harbaugh as the best football coach ever. I don't think there has ever been a coach to win like this at all levels of football college and pro.

I only know what my eyes saw. Didn't appear to me that the ball hit the line to gain before he got popped.
I thought he got that part, but figured since he gotten turned back so quickly after that and before the whistle, they would have said no.

OSU ot OU would get drilled by the top 4. I would like OSU to beat OU so I can witness the whining first hand of neither getting in.

Between bama, tOSU, Michigan, and Clemson, yea, I wouldn't be comfortable facing any of those. If Wisconsin or Washington creeped up there, well, MAYBE one of those.

I guess y'all are blind. It was a first down but only by inches.

According to this view, it looks like he got there. Harbaugh has no one to blame but himself after having a 17-7 lead - with the ball - late in the 3rd quarter. The difference, Harbaugh played not to lose while Urban played to win - he could have kicked the tying field goal on this 4th and 1 but chose to go for it and the win which Samuel took into the end zone on the next play. Harbaugh's now 0-2 against Urban. This was suppose to be Michigan's year against OSU with a senior laden squad compared to 44 new players who never before played a down of CF for OSU. My point: look for dip$hit to self-destruct like he did in SF after a few more of these. He's no Urban.

Ha, ha -- it wasn't bad officiating so much as the three turnovers, including a pick six, that sunk Michigan. Harbunk is just but hurt and ego bruised because he got out coached. An yes, that was the correct spot for the fourth down.

The other laughable part was their Heisman (supposedly) superstar Peppers who ran his mouth all week about OSU physical attributes and then stomped on OSU's block O before kickoff. He ended up finishing 0-3 against OSU (like most UM players do) and was so upset after the game that he punched an OSU fan in the face. OSU assistant coach Kerry Combs had to jump between them.

BTW, congrats on your huge hire today. As a Buckeye, I consider TH as one of - if not THE vital cog - in our 2014 NC run. The guy will dam# sure put together an offense for you - that's an almost guarantee. Many Buckeyes will turn into Texas fans after the hire.

And in the end neither team is playing for the conference title lol

Regardless of where you fall on the 4th down, it was certainly close enough to be within the tolerable margin of error. Even if you think he didn't get it, that in no way was a egregiously bad call. Missing a spot by inches is going to happen 20 times a game, and unless the pic above is an illusion it wasn't even missed.

To the point about Michigan's depth of upperclassmen, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything like it. They had a ton of upperclassmen last year -- I think there were only three underclassmen (all sophomores) among all starters, including special teams.

The number of senior starters they have this year is insane (and so many are fifth-year seniors): http://www.ourlads.com/ncaa-football-depth-charts/depth-chart/michigan/91119. I think Harbaugh is an excellent coach, but he could hardly have walked into a situation more set up to make him look like a genius than this one. Hoke's 2012 and 2013 recruiting classes were really good.

Xichigan should have gotten more than 5 yards offense and count em1 first down in the 4th quarter. Not counting 2 interceptions caused by a great Buckeye defense. Harbaugh needs
