I was teaching school (Brackettville HS) on Tuesday when my wife called me. She said helicopters had been flying over our house/neighborhood for the past 30 minutes. She said our jneigbor ust called and advised that several MS-13 (she has a police scanner) were near our homes and were being pursued by local law enforcement and border patrol. She watched the chase from her fenced back yard as it was happening. Apparently, there was a high speed chase and the gangsters bailed on HWY 90 (across from our local Subway/Stripes), jumped the Fort Clark perimeter wall, and scattered.
This invasion is real and has come less than 70 yards from our home. Illegals are always turning up at Fort Clark Springs, but this is the second time in less that six weeks that MS-13 has turned up. Two were captured, but the other four are still at large. For those that are not aware or don't think this is happening, this madness is real. I should also mention the hold in place (45 minutes) that also took place at our school yesterday. That's right - another high speed chase and bailout.
In closing, Eagle Pass and Del Rio are being overrun - thousands per day - with nowhere to put them. How can our politicians continue to allow this bull shit? Shame on this failed administration for allowing these monsters to enter our lives. We, Texas, and America deserve better.
