Hello OB friends!!
I have started my first company, Saldaña Metal and Glass, LLC (glazing services). I would like to get certified as a DBE as a Minority owned business, potentially a veteran owned business (retired USAF) or potentially a Historically Underutilized Business, not sure what I can qualify for. I have been preparing to go through the Texas Unified Certifications Program (TUCP) process.
I have already applied through the Texas SBA. Are there any other entities i should submit to for Texas?
Has anyone ever used a consultant?
Any OB members have any experience or perhaps can give me some advice/direction (pitfalls) on the process. Any help is appreciated!
