You're right, Trump has nothing to do with it. He's just up there taking all of the arrows to give Republicans cover to implement business friendly policies that drive the economy and reduce unnecessary burden on taxpayers. Businesses are confident that they won't get blindsided by some government edict that crushes their productivity. But keep telling yourself that horrible man in the White House is bad for the Country.
Maybe so, but has anyone been good for this country of all the Presidents? I man Bush lied, Obama lied, Trump lied... They seem to all F*u*k up in the last yrs of their terms...its a shame to live in a Country that a little man can't run for Prez unless he has at least 5 mil and more coming in, you gotta buy the White House! Thats the power of the politics...If you have a new Rep or Senator and he's not on the take and honest, by the end of his term he will have more money than when he started plus the word Honesty has been forgotten long time ago...a 100 a plate BBQ, not a plate of BBQ worth a hundred, your just buying gas for his new Lincoln...

From my little corner of the world - banks are lending, allowing businesses to expand, apartments to be built, jobs to be created. Under prior administration, banks are vilified, burdened with Sarbanes Oxley and the like, and treated like thieves, causing banks to pull back. They had their share of blame for the Great Recession, but you shut them down, and the economy goes with it.
