I got an email from my daughters school letting us know about the safe space they will have for the national walk out for the anniversary of the Columbine HS shooting. She is in middle school and asked if she could do it. My immediate response was hell to the no! But my wife wants us to hear her try and give us a good reason for supporting it and if she is even educated on gun laws. She just wants out of class I know it or to do what her friends are doing, but that is not how we roll. I don't support schools or jobs as a platform for protesting.
