I was in New Braunfels this past weekend on a last minute trip to the hang out on the Comal. Still most all of the local bars are closed downtown. Ended up eating at Los Cucos at Common St. and 46 on Saturday night. Clob, Bell and any others, what are y'all hearing about when things will be open again, especially near the downtown/roundabout area? I'll be there again this coming weekend.

I think Gruene Hall opens up after May 18th for live music. Not sure about the downtown area.

The Reel and Mozie's are open. I think the Gristmill and Float Inn. Krause's and Huisache are closed.

Ok--- all bars will be opening this Friday. It's "supposed" to be at 25% capacity. That will last about 30 minutes. The Faust Hotel is opening Friday as well. Freiheit's country store is open and playing live music. Randy Rogers played this past weekend. Check you listings to see who plays this weekend.

You may not like crawfish but if you do I’d recommend Comal Crawfish Company. I’ve had their shrimp, it was ok, boudin was ok, both were kind of like you’d find at the Boiling Pot in Rockport but they can definitely cook some crawfish. Pretty damn good. I think it’s still BYOB.

I just decided to go there today. It's been a long time since I've eaten a little tail and sucked some head.

Had bacon wrapped pork tenderloin, jalapeno cheese sausage and boudin last night down by the Comal.

Never made it out there, I have been doing CE classes for work this weekend and it got the best of me. :(
