As a DC, Ash had multiple Top 20 defenses.

Ash runs a 4/3 over with quarters coverage. 9-3-1-5 across the front. I don’t know if we have a decent 4/3 5 technique on campus. Sam and Mike backer will make plays and I think Ossai will thrive in that scheme. Will probably have a Ni back in most of the time in Big 12 play. In that D Will has weak side B gap so you need a Ni back who will come downhill in run support. Quarters coverages are nice because they allow safetys to play the run (Sterns and Foster) but I don’t know about having the DBs flat at 7-10 yards vs Big 12 offenses.
