Listen, I will be first to say I have been hating on Charlie. But, it is also getting old to read. So, I thought it would be a good idea to bring up a different topic.
Whether Charlie stays or goes, I do think we have realized the pains with playing true frosh. So the likelihood of starting some next year is assumed minimal. Below is what I show as our starting team next year. What is shocking to me is just how badly our senior class will be represented.
LT - Williams (Soph)
LG - Perkins (Sr)
C - Raulerson (Jr)
RG - Vahe (Soph)
RT - Nickelson (Jr)
TE - Beck (Jr)
QB - Heard (Soph)
RB - Foreman (Jr)
Z - Burt (Soph)
X - Foreman (Jr)
H - Newsome (Soph) or McNeal (Soph)
Fox - Hughes (Jr)
DT - Ford (Jr)
DT - Ridgeway (Sr)
Strong - Cottrell (Sr) iffy???
WLB - Wheeler (Soph)
MLB - Jefferson (Soph)
SLB - Freeman (Soph)
CB - Davis (Soph)
CB - Hill (Soph)
SS - Elliott (Soph) Sorry Haines
FS - Hall (Jr)
Nickel - Boyd (Soph)
I guess my point is that we will likely only have 3 or 4 seniors in our two deep. Perkins, Ridgeway, Cottrell, Haines, Bluiett... That's about it. And we will return about 18 starters in 2017.
I really wished we pulled out 2 of 3 from Tech, OSU or Cal as this team could really improve with extra practices. Thoughts?
