I'm impressed with the steak I grilled for the game. Man it hit the spot! Porterhouse steak seasoned with only Worcestershire sauce and pepper with some pecan wood in the coals. A-maz-ing!

Facts are this, Texas has played better at home than on the road, they are 3-3, 6 points is the fewest allowed to any Big 12 team in conference play, ISU was averaging 39 points a game over their last 3 and nearly 500 yds per game. Texas held them to 6 points and 280 total yards.

While it wasn't the greatest show on earth, they made it look like progress has occurred with the simplification of scheme as well as tackling and playing their man.

Settle down a bit man. It is ok to debate your side of the issue, but no reason to just call out Texas unprovoked on their board. We are guests, and they can boot us at their pleasure. There are plenty of dumb things said you can push back on, but let it come to you. Or go crazy, whatever floats your boat.

2/3rds of these folks on these boards want Strong gone. I am just posting that it is not impressive to beat a 1-5 team at home, that has lost to a 1AA/FCS team and been crushed by Iowa 42-3, which also lost to a 1AA/FCS school. ISU also does not play the type of game UT has trouble with.

It's relatively simple. Win 8 he's back, win 7 it gets iffy, win 6 (3 more) and he's likely calling a realtor.

The whole, "so and so beat so and so whom beat so and so argument" is futile and embarrassing.

Shutting down a teams production has greater value.

Sure looks like a team that was finding their stride on offense...

Versus Texas: 182/98 6 points, ONE drive of 50 plus yards that scored points, the other three came off a fumble at the 34 with a 15 yard penalty attached and they still couldn't punch it in. The other long drive was 17 plays for 73 yards against backups (freshmen) on the last drive whom forced a turnover to end the game in the red zone.

Something was better than what we had seen in previous weeks. It has to be the super Power Ranger arm bands, am I right?

I do it occasionally, most of the time it's nothing but a touch of olive oil, sea salt and pepper on high quality Rib eyes or strips, medium rare to rare.
