I am moving into a new apartment. They have it wired for AT&T fiber. They have 1000mbps for $90/mo. so I'll probably go with the internet service that they provide. The problem is they are partnered with Direct TV, and I can't stand Direct TV.

What does the OB brain trust recommend that I go with for TV? I'm mostly interested in Longhorn sports (obviously), baseball, and local channels. I have streaming services for movies and series.

Just for reference, AT&T wants to charge me $69.99, $84.99, 114.99, or 154.99 for cable. THEN, they said that there is an additional fee of 14.99 for sports channels on top of all of those prices. Who tf pays that much for cable TV? Or is this what everyone is charging?

I'm thinking YouTube TV, Fubo, or something else is MUCH cheaper. Right?

I have a smart TV but no other devices like a Roku or anything else.
