We were at a crowded Irish pub when two ladies asked if they could sit at our table. Of course. One was from Odessa and I asked if she knew Odesa, Ukraine was spelled with one S. She knew, but her husband was watching TV said hey they spelled Odessa wrong. She said that is the way they spell it there, but if it is spelled wrong it is Odessa, Texas since Odesa, Ukraine was there first.😎
