Ohio State vs Clemson CFP Game Thread

I hate when Herbie calls Ohio State games, it feels like a Dad trying to pretend he is unbias.
I don't know if I would count Clemson out. They have some decent bigs on the DL and a heck of a QB.
I want Clemson to win it all (anyone except Bama or Ohio State).
Ohio State is very similar to Alabama, just not as good. Clemson is a little less talented, but having a star QB gives them a chance. They also have a WR who can take the top off, but their OL will be in trouble.
OSU needs a kicker. Missed a couple versus Michigan as well. Sounds familiar....
Looks to me like Clemson is beating them every way you can beat a team. SO far OSU isn't even giving them a game.

Yes I'm getting one of the things I wanted to see in bowl season. The Big X getting it handed to them. First MI, and now tOSU and the great Urban Meyer getting not just blown out but shut out as well.
Now if OK, Western MI, and SC win on Monday I'll be happy and it will be egg on the face of the Big X people on the pc who have tried to fix the system to suit their wants.

So don't include a team in a specific conference based on the previous years performance. Got it. Makes great sense.
Why not, the last 2 years the BIG has been outscored 69-0 so yeah, pick 4 teams from other conferences. You don't have to win but you have to at the very least compete. In case you didn't know 69-0 isn't competing.
The committee will never leave a one loss urban Meyer coached team out of the playoffs. Having a star coach matters
Clemson vs Alabama for the natty. Probably going to be a good game but I just dont feel like watching another bama trophy presentation. Almost like watching the Allblacks rugby team playing against....anyone else.
OK...Bama looks like the real deal, and they deserve to be put on that pedistal.....but there are many a slip betwixt croch and leap. The football is not round however, and they still have to win it. Clemson does not appear to be statisfied to go into that good night so to speak.. If Bama wins, they win...but they better show up to play.
Interesting that Nick Saban very well could be coaching against the man that replaces him some day.
I agree. Clemson played very good football against Ohio St. It is not like Clemson just had better talent than them...they played great....and Ohio st didn't.
the thing I noticed about the OSU Clemson game in the little I watched of it was how huge of a pass rush Clemson was able to generate with only 3 down linemen rushing. OSU could not block them. If you can disrupt dropping 8 into coverage, you are going to be successful just about always.
