Most recent donation put us over the top of our goal. Special shout out to Texas Card House who donated $803.00 at around 1 AM! hmmm...wonder who was behind the curtain on that one?

Also special thanks to @TEXPIMP @Ketchum and @PutYourHornsUp for referring our largest donor and new Orangeblood Subscriber and Major Sponsor to be named later.
We can continue to keep the drive going if anyone would still want to contribute and help cover costs of food, drinks, & miscellaneous items for the season. You can individually decide and monies will go for that cause.
We hope each of you can make it for the 1st game. We will do a special presentation for Linda Dillard in Jeff's honor before the game. I will announce details later today. We will video and post it for those unable to attend. It is going to be very special. Linda has confirmed she will be there.

LATEST UPDATE 8/26-We are sitting just shy of $6,000 so far. We have pledges to come in the next day or two that will bring us between 10-11K We are so close! Please keep the synergy going. We can do this.

UPDATE: At this point, we have surpassed the $4,000 mark and with soft commitments through a couple of potential sponsors we, we believe that we're more than half way home.

Here it is folks.
The first tailgate thread posted garnered a 4 page response and many of you wanted to know how to participate. We first tried to achieve corporate sponsorship to facilitate and cover the cost for the season. Media buys had already been placed and we were too late to get them landed. We have 3 majors who want to take it on next year, however the time to move is now for real estate and to stake our claim for this spot, We all know tailgate spots are at a premium.
We have negotiated a prime location at the corner of 23rd and Robert Dedman for the tailgate location. We have a turnkey setup package including everything except food and drinks of which some of you have already pledged to help with. This type of setup is terrific as it puts less work on our volunteers and will cement our spot for years to come with our commitment to this package. I received confirmation last week the team bus will actually be unloading directly in front of our tent.
We have researched and worked diligently to pull this together. We refused to quit. We feel as if we see a way where there seemed to be no way. I reached out to my Bellville brother TexPimp with our plight and asked for his thoughts as he took up the tailgate torch when Jeff passed away. I asked if he could reach out to Linda Dillard and gauge availability and interest to receive the honor in Jeff's memory. I will let him reply with details of that discussion. Onions!
We need each other to make this work. We have developed a Facebook page entitled Orangebloods Tailgate. We set up a GoFundMe account for those who want to contribute. We opened the Facebook page yesterday and already have over 100 friends. We have $350.00 so far in donations. Our need to cover the season and cement our location is $12,944.86. We are not taking any withdrawals unless the need is met. All monies will be refunded if the need is not met. We will consider special sponsorship acknowledgement on the site for donations over $2,000.00 for your businesses. We will give special signature sponsorship for $500.00 Please contact me at rob.orangebloods@gmail.com for more details.
