About a year ago I switched to the Citi AA Executive World Elite Executive credit card due to a promotion as well as the fact that it provided Admirals Club membership. Wife from Nam, daughters and I all use the card and have taken advantage of access to the Admirals Club many times (business and personal travel). When we signed up you could use the Club even if you were flying on a different airlines that day. Well wife from Nam just arrived early for a flight out of ABIA and was given the Heisman when she tried to access the Admirals Club. They said you could no longer use the club if you were not on an AA flight. She is pissed and if she had wire cutters she would have cut that metal card into pieces in front of the ladies at the AA club. Time to cancel the card. Does anyone know of another credit card that provides airline club access that does not restrict you to having a seat on a specific airline the day of travel?
