I am getting ready to go throw a couple rounds and was just curious if any of yall play or ever considered it. I have found it to be very relaxing and chill - and since I have absolutely NO ability to maintain the form required to swing a golf club, this has been a very awesome substitute.

At this point I have been playing for about 4 years and continue to see progress in my game. I have a very unconventional throw but have been able to fine tune it in order to make it work out very nice.

Did you call your folks and come out to them too? ;)

I picked it up during 4th year of medical school (lots of time for new hobbies during that year). I play periodically now but haven't in a while. There is a nice course at City Park in New Orleans but not a lot of options for other places to play.

I throw almost everything, especially my drives, forehand because my backhand is terrible.

So you're saying you didn't pay for med school via pimping?

Haven't played in awhile, but every time I see a course I keep wondering where my discs are. I'm south of Austin.

LOL... seems we have a few players in here. Thats nice to know. I actually play one of the courses right next to my parents house on a regular basis but try to hit different courses as often as possible. I have so many discs I have been giving them away to ppl in an attempt to get more ppl playing.

Horns - if you ever make it to the north side of Austin and feel like running a round let me know. I got discs to cover a few extra ppl and there are courses all over the place up here.
