OT: Christmas Tree Railroad Track Issue

I'm not getting connectivity throughout the entire track. The track is probably from 1965 and is tacked down to a large piece of plywood. I've gone over the whole track with a wire brush. I get a spark on the first few rails but it dies after that. Everything appears connected.

Any suggestions?
