After several years living abroad, we feel the need to be closer to home. I’ve been offered a role right on the DC/Maryland border. We have two kids, a 14 year old boy starting high school in the fall, and a 7 year old girl who will start 2nd grade in the fall.
We’d love to do Bethesda, inside the Beltway, but honestly it’s just out of our price range. Maybe Silver Spring. We are being pointed more to Rockville or Gaithersburg. Any other areas have decent enough public schools and would be a reasonable commute toward Takoma Park?
Any DC/Maryland side experts? Happen to be any realtors there on the board? We are looking for a July move.
