I'm likely headed to Walt Disney World w/significant other during the week of Thanksgiving.
I know there have been a lot of Disney World threads on here, but many of which are geared towards the kids and how to handle logistics and such. We do not have kids, so looking for recs from an Adult perspective.
1) I'm likely staying off-site at either the Waldorf Astoria or Hilton Bonnet Creek. Both of these have scheduled direct complimentary shuttles for transport to and from all the Disney parks.
2) Since transport isn't an issue, what other perks am I missing out on by not staying at a Disney World Resort hotel?
3) Related to the above, how do dining reservations work? Is that tied to staying at an official on-site resort? Are there discounts? Does it matter if it's a restaurant at a theme park vs a restaurant at a hotel?
4) From an adult perspective, any feedback on Animal Kingdom? Is this worth visiting?
