Has anyone here been to Paris recently, near(ish) to the tourist areas, and who would have stayed in an affordable hostel type accomodations, that they could recommend?
My son has an upcoming study abroad trip in the UK. Which has a scheduled 3 day break, where he is considering taking a ferry to Dublin, just to go and see and experience the city.
He doesn't want or need anywhere fancy to stay, but looking for more hostel like style accomodations. But we do want to locate one that is close to the tourist parts of town, relatively safe to stay out, and has decent.
The challenge with looking at websites is how do you know when the websites are not just making a specific just LOOK and seem that way, when it actually isn't, etc.
