Uh....... cool..... I guess. I could make a submarine run on bicycle power if I had enough Lance armstrong clones. It doesn't make it effective or efficient. It's certain to be loud as hell, almost as detectable as a diesel clunker. It's outfitted with Tomahawks... I wonder where they got those from......(us).... a towed radar system....... also from us.... and a cruising speed of, excuse me----- four knots?

Captain, if you'd like, me and the amigos can hop out and push. I'm not joking when I say that I really think Michael phelps swims faster than this.

If you move slowly, then you compensate for that by being stealthy and being able to stay submerged for months at a time... or as long as your food supply holds out. If you're not stealthy, the you compensate with speed.

But to be slow, not stealthy, and can only stay submerged for 12000 miles is just sh!t. Did they use biofuels so they could virtue signal about building a weapon of war that was environmentally friendly? Irony much?

12000 miles?...If it aint nuclear, I doubt it can stay submerged anywhere near that. That ethanol engine only works while on the surface I would think.

Maybe if its got batteries OLD~! Like old WW2 subs probably, have to surface to charge

FB I expect it to have batterys that charge while running the ethanol engine on top. I also agree that todays batterys are much, much better than WWII subs had.....but 12000 miles seems a bit much. The Atlantic is only 8000 miles wide
