I'm a noodle snob. I love great noodles. Lo mein- egg noodles- pad thai- pho-- Raman--- and usually I have to go to NY, LA or over seas to get great noodles. Well a nice little Thai lady that just moved to NB from Frisco because as she says "fvck that place" and she makes the best damn noodles I've ever had. I love this place. It's call Baan Oy in new Braunfels and the damn shrimp wanton noodle soup is Fo real!

Our HR manager at work always uses the phrase......we need to noodle on it a while. I promise you he has never noodled for catfish. So what’s this noodling your referring?

Love Pho, Pad Thai and Ramen. Thank god for having a large Asian community in Houston!!!

Two things I love about Houston, Oriental food and Nigerian food. both are amazing.

NB has some great places, but the best oriental food is in San Antonio, it's a place called Heavenly Pho.

The best Asian food is in San Antonio?!? Man ok.

You got a better place?

Any Asian Restaurant in Houston. Not saying San Antonio doesn’t have good restaurants but the best Asian food is not in San Antonio. Sorry.

They may have better Tex Mex and Mexican.

Oh no I know what you mean--- there's solid Asian food in houston-- no doubt. I was just curious where you're go to spot was.

Actually I should have been more specific, I meant in the Central Texas area between San Antonio, NB, and the surrounding area, I won't count Austin, because I don't eat a lot of Oriental food when I'm there. I've found a couple of great Oriental places in the Sugarland area, along with a couple of great Nigerian places.

Best pizzia I've had outside of New York is in Spring and I'm not kidding, it's great. Tony's on Louetta is crazy good.

Now I'm hungry and want to get some food. I'm heading to Center Court Sports Bar for Pizza and a game.

San Antonio has a big Thai population and a lot of great Thai restaurants so I would probably say they go toe to toe with Houston. Chinese, not so much.

Ate there Friday nite. Noodles are excellent.

Did you go with the wanton or the pad thai?
Pad something else. With some vegetables. I like Thai, but I don't know it well. I'm 1/2 Cantonese, I grew up eating at the old places.

When I get back home, that’s the first place ill visit, thanks.

Not the first time I have heard this. I need to make a trip over there...

Place looks like crap, it is next to a gas station, and when you see it, your going to think I'm crazy, but damn it's great. The family are New York transplants and their place is straight out of NY both in feel and quality. BTW, I have high score in Galiga there :D
