Guys, I'm thinking of taking a trip with the wife for a bit leading up to my 40th birthday on May 16th.
We were game-planning this weekend and talked about tying it in with the final Liverpool home game of the year, which is on Saturday, May 7th.
We'd like to catch the game, spend a few days in London and then do Paris for a few days before coming back home.
Advise? If we leave on a Thursday, should we just fly into Liverpool and then go to London from there? How doable is the drive for us if we flew into London? Do we take a train?
