OT Netflix Medal of Honor

Medal of Honor. Is it historical or historical fiction? I love history. Historical fiction--- not so much.

The African American dude that fought for Spain then the US was a MANCHILD. They shot that dude so full of holes and he just went Zulu warrior on them. This was a great suggestion.

Just finished this series and I 100% recommend it. I’ve always had respect for those who serve, but this series really makes you appreciate the badasses that are out there and the extraordinary feats some people can do. If you have Netflix, you need to watch this series.

Have watched the first three episodes. Amazing.

For those of you who have watched the whole series: Do they include Rodger Young?

There are over 3,400 medal of honor winners I'd be damn happy if they made an episode for every one of them.
Just started last night, through first 2. Incredible stuff.

I guess I could google it, but was just wondering how many of the 3,400+ are still alive?

Wow wow wow wow wow wow wow. So incredible to watch this. Just amazing to hear and watch these stories told. Thanks for the recommendation.

Finished it last night. I echo what others have already said, it's a fantastic series very much worth watching.

What really stuck out to me was the bond between the Medal of Honor winner and the men that served with him. When the soldiers talk about the actions of these men the emotions they show bring out the same emotions in me.

Single man holding a line by himself, or a man charging down a machine gun nest. Valor beyond belief.

I just started watching this. I've seen episodes 1, 2, and 4. The story of Sylvester Antolak was very emotional for me. I can't describe why but it touches me when someone is awarded the MoH posthumously. And I learned that there is a different medal for each branch of service.

I'll watch the rest this weekend

Was he the guy in Laos at the mountain top that got everybody onto the chopper and was then shot? Must rewatch tomorrow.
