Appreciate some advice.

About a year ago I strained my elbow trying to avoid falling off a boat. I felt/heard a small pop sound but no material pain in the ensuing months.

Several months of hitting the weights hard and my elbow got very soar. Pain radiating from that bony protrusion on the inside of the elbow but was most painful in the brachioradialis muscle - when doing curling motions with the hand pronated and palm facing inside, like a hammer curl.

I stopped all activity with the arm but pain wouldn’t go away. I saw a doc, did an MRI which came back negative. Took a steroid shot and felt better. Went back to normal activity.

6 months later and the pain is back. I don’t want another steroid shot, I want to fix the problem. What should I do? Try a different doc?
