Dear Facebook,
I ran with the bulls this morning. Holy shit was it one of the most incredible things I’ve ever done. Got into Pamplona yesterday and partied the day away, woke up at 6am ready to rock. Walked my wife and kids to their balcony and then got into my spot with my BIL at the top of the hill by the first plaza.
I’ve done a lot of crazy stuff in my life but this was the most intense two minutes of my life. Saw a guy about ten feet from me get gored by a bull and his head stomped by a trailing bull. I’m coming up on him with the other bulls still trailing and some dude throws me out of the way so I don’t trample the dude on the floor. At that point I was smash up on the wall with a bunch of other guys. The fear in everyone’s eyes as they get going is something, complete adrenaline dump, had to take a siesta afterwards to recharge.
