I never saw CCR but I did catch John Fogerty which was all the same. Love the songs but I really like how he explains the meaning behind each one.

Back in the mid-80s, after my tour at UT-Arlington, I worked for Fogerty....He was half owner of a pizza joint in the Bay Area where I was asst. mgr. I only met him once though, mostly he stayed at home and collected checks....

Oh yes it was. If I remember correctly, they sued him for sounding too much like CCR. Uh yeah, it's his voice.

John Fogerty played here at Whitewater Amphitheatre outside New Braunfels a couple of months ago.

I saw him back in Summer of 1997 supporting the Blue Moon Swamp LP. Seemed like he played EVERYTHING. It was outdoors at Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavillion. Awesome venue, plus his band was incredible. Sounded great too!

I sure enjoyed more than my share of rock concerts back in the day. If you haven't heard SHINYRIBS, you should. To my ear, somewhere between Little Feat and George Clinton. Gonna be at the Paramount this Friday. Youtube has 2 of their songs, I Don't give a shit is hilarious
