OT:Success!

@FlourBluffHorn, what can you tell me about Santana losing two of his band members to Journey in the early 70s and how all of that went down at the time (Gregg Rolie/Neil Schon). I wasn't ever a big Santana fan, but I am liking him more as I get older. I didn't really know about him until sometime in the 90s. Anyway, we were watching him on TV doing a concert and I just started searching some of the people in his band and that was pretty interesting. It seems he has always been cool about collaborating with other artists throughout his career.

That had to do with Steve Perry I think, dunno, but, Santanna is one of the best the biz and he has always helped others get a start, he one of the best writers of song, hard not say anything bad about him...Journeys always been a mystery , Steve Perry was the man and then it came together, Now Perry gone and no journey as he was Journey in his voice,
They also had a lotta probs about all the tours, and Steve Got tire and then it all blew, I listen to Sanatana early stuff and a little of his new, old stuff is better when he was really bending the licks on the guitar, just buy ya self a cd of his greatest hits and pop it in and crank it for the neighbors too...lol
