I'm going to visit Spain and Portugal this summer for 3 weeks with my wife and 22 year old daughter. Mostly southern Spain and Portugal. Anyways, I'd like to visit Tangier, Morocco for 2 nights. Take the Ferry over from Tarifa, and stay in a high end hotel. Visit the historical sights in the city, eat and drink. See the markets. So a few questions for those that have been:
- Any recommended Hotels? A 4-5 * hotel that close to the port area. Grand Hotel Villa De France seems nice.
- I assume that I should leave the rental car in Tarifa and just take the luggage. What's the transportation like from port to hotel? Uber good or taxi or call the hotel?
- Any recommended restaurants for Dinner?
- should I do a private tour guide for 1/2 day? Either for safety, or admissions, or cultural knowledge? If so, any recommendations?
- Must do sights?
