Hopefully once we can agree on border security being a serious issue, the shutdown will end. My DPS buddy told me the other day that all Texas DPS officers are being ordered to the border in shifts to help to stem the over flow of hostile vigilantes entering the country illegally. I’m not referring to women and children as vigilantes but they need to follow protocol as well.

My understanding is that all DPS officers will work on the border in one week shifts once a month for the foreseeable future.
