When I say the term "Kansas Girl" to you, what are the first few images and traits, that come into your mind?
In your mind's eye, what does the "typical" Kansas girl look and act like?
And what kind of scene do you imagine her, and wearing what type of clothing?
How many have you dated, or Lawd help you, married? How did that go?
Who is the hottest example you can think of?

To me, a "typical" Kansas Girl will have all these traits:
Big, wide open and welcoming eyes, of all shapes and colors. Brown is most typical, but there are plenty of smoldering green and exploding blues mixed into the species as well.
Big ass eyelashes that say come home to the farm with me.
This is the land that cranks out the wholesome brunettes, with large wavy curls, and the popular style is to have it tied up in some sort of tail, or tails. Sometimes a touch of "mousy" can creep here or there, or some oddly attractive plainness, but they usually have it under control. Makeup isn't usually her thing, is used only minimally, but not completely ignored either, as she prefers to get by on her natural looks.
Typical Kansas Girl comes in two distinct shapes and sizes, either a little bit on the short, stocky, but still petite size, or the long and lean wispier type. Freckles are abundant, but not overwhelming, and usually sprinkled about in all the right places. And for some reason, they are a little darker, almost olive complected, and tan just wonderfully.
Cute brown hair, big brown eyes, and freckles is her killing formula.
For me, this is THE premier go-to state, for finding your girl next door brunette.
Her outfits are usually very relaxed and toned down, and loose fitting t-shirts and tight fitting jeans are her usual fare. Every now and then her dresses seem just a little too nostalgic, and are out of another decade even, but it doesn't hurt a damn thing. She's got just the right amount of Country & Western in her get up, and looks good in boots. These girls are also the only girls in the world who can make a gingham dress look smokin', for some odd reason.
Travel is NOT her thing at all, and she prefers to stay close to home, and mostly in her natural habitat, the wind-blown Great Plains. But, when she does travel abroad for any period of time, its' usually almost always unwillingly. And can often result in some extreme weather event, like a tornado picking her up, or the weather just starts getting rough, when she's on a boat that get's tossed.
She will always have an inner core, that is both a little coy and shy, but also welcoming. Her smile explodes with abnormally nice, white and perfect teeth. She's usually about 1.75X as smart as her outward appearance suggests, so be cautious when debating her.
Cooking and knitting are not just skills, but actually some sort of natural genetic capability that she was born with. These women can fill up two long picnic tables with all sorts of assorted casseroles and salads of 40 different varieties, in just under 30 minutes.
