Hey OB...we are headed to Jacksonville for our annual guys trip to see Cowboys game.
December 18th, 2022, so weather looks to be 50's in AM, low 70's in PM
Wanted to see if I could get some recommendations on where to stay, as in what area, to have a good time in the town.
We are all 40-45 years old, not interested in clubs at all.
Mostly hang out at bars with some good whiskey and really don't get dressed up at all.
No idea how to tackle this one.
Have no idea about the town either, or it's vibe...and looking up where to stay in JAX on Google is not as easy a chore as a lot of cities.
Options thus far have included:
1. Jacksonville Beach (Neptune also)
2. Downtown along river
3. Deerwood/South Point
Appreciate any help on not only areas, but VRBO or hotels if you have specific recs.
