I really don't see Riley leaving, especially now that he got an Extension. I don't think the number has been reported yet, but guessing it would be in the $7 Million range.

Home run hire? You might want to tap the brakes on that. He was at WSU and OSU. OSU's defense wasn't that impressive this year. However, anything is an upgrade over Stoops and that defense of OU's this year, and I use that term loosely calling it a defense. I bet that he turns out to be very mediocre, given the Air Raid offense and they way it keeps a defense on the field so much.
I think it’s a good hire. He did a great job turning the WSU defense around. He says takeaways are paydays. They didn’t run his scheme at OSU. They ran Schiano’s scheme. Who knows but I like it.
I wouldn't call it homerun either (at least not until its proven on the field at OU). He did really turn the WAZZU defense around and granted tOSU's defense was nothing special this year; however he was the Co and running Schiano's scheme and not his. Time will tell and it absolutely positively cannot be worse than last year!!

I disagree. We don’t need a strong ou. The swooners have done just fine during our tumultumous decade and have shed no tears over us. Let ‘em lose every game for all I care. All we need is for Texas to win.

Riley is recruiting on a whole other stratosphere right now. Those wr’s damn, it ought to be illegal. If you would have asked me 2 weeks ago who would win the 2019 Heisman I would have guaranteed Tua Tugonmyboa but that was before I watched the All American Bowl today. I just put a large some of money on OU to have the first 3 peat Heisman and probably 5 peat. The winner of the 2019, 2020 and probably 2021 is no other than Spencer Rattler. Did I mention our defense is fixing to get very stingy? Prepare thine anuses Big 12 and beyond.
