During our recent dark decade, we were consistently one of the most penalized teams in college football, and I thought, with a number of my fellow OB-ers,
that had a lot to do with a general visceral prejudice/hatred regarding UT. These past two years, have been quite different, in my view. I've seen very few calls against us with which I would disagree. Our vaunted O-line has stacked up a mountain of particularly ill-timed motion and holding penalties, many of which negated great plays, promising drives, etc. Not to mention some hugely unnecessary personal foul penalties. Surely a talented coaching staff like ours can come up with a fix for this. A new system, young ball club etc. no longer flies as an excuse.
