Perrin to be the permanent AD

Well,he played football under Royal.he would certainly understand the traditions at the University of Texas.
I remember him from my days on the Forty Acres. Tough and smart (Academic All-American). Happy if this rumor is true.

Former player, business minded, legal degree, knew coach royal, not a ton of name recognition but I'm cool with having a guy that doesn't need the spotlight. He's family, and in dire times, you look to your family to lean on. Best of luck to him!

Great choice. I'll be surprised if he hangs around more than a few years, but that's more than enough time to create some stability and rebuild the bridges that a*shole Patterson worked so hard to burn.

I wish he could find a way to undo some of our overrated track coach AD's end-of-career f*ck-ups, but it looks like we'll be living with the consequences of those moves for still some time to come.
