SURVIVE AND ADVANCE!
The Texas Longhorns are taking on the Kansas Jayhawks in the first round of the Big 12 Tournament.
Just a month back the Horns travelled to Lawrence and took 2 of 3 from the Jayhawks, but did lose game one, in a matchup that LHP Lucas Gordon did not fare well in. On the flip side, Kansas RHP Baumgartner got 15 of his 21 outs via the fly out as the Horns pounded the ball but into the wind.
Look for Lucas to come out firing to avenge is only loss of the season. Most importantly though is that the Horns get a win in game one as they really don’t have the depth to try and make it all the way through from the losers bracket.
